The Great Day of Love

For Valentine's day we just stayed in Cedar City and took it easy. We wanted to go play in the snow, but we didn't have any sleds or tubes. We finally found a snowboard to borrow from a friend. So we made the most out of it and had a great time.

This is our "heart" sculpture we made together. It's hard to see but we scratched our initials in the heart. It's not very pretty, but we thought it was fitting to make a heart instead of a snowman for Valentines day. This was my gift to Michael. I designed some Valentine's coupons for him to redeem. Things like one teddy bear squeeze, one camping trip, etc. Michael got me a plethora of gifts. A cute white teddy bear, a HUGE box of chocolates, a rose, candy hearts, a red love journal where he recorded his feelings for me from the first time he saw me, and a huge soft pillow. We made chocolate fondu with all the goodies to dip in it and played the longest game of scrabble ever..... but of course I won!
